This is a Managed App Connector.
Prerequisites
Refer to Task 1 from Getting Started to begin understanding the contextual information you’ll need for the rest of this process.
Collect Required Information from Vendor
Submit Your Registration Form
Refer to Task 2 from Getting Started to submit the Application Registration form to NICE.
Refer to this information as you move through the form, clicking Next to move to the next screen:
Email — Enter a relevant contact at your company for this application.
Name — Enter a relevant contact at your company for this application.
Name of your application — Calero recommends using Calero.com client oauth app or something similar.
Description — Calero recommends using Calero.com client oauth app or something similar.
Technical email addresses — Include saas-connectors@calero.com and a relevant contact in your organization.
Method to receive password — Select Email.
Tenancy of application — Select Single Tenant.
CXone Environments — Select the environments which apply to your account with Nice. Contact Nice for advice if you are unsure which environment you need.
Authentication method — Select client_secret_basic.
Application type — Select Back-end.
If you experience any problems or if NICE rejects the application, contact Calero and provide us details of Nice's response.
Prepare a Test User Account
Refer to Task 3 of Getting Started to prepare a test user account.
Once the test user account is prepared, be sure to have the follow information saved for use in the Onboarding process (described below):
Client ID and Client Secret for your oAuth app
A user account with an Access Key and Access Key Secret
The Time Zone configured for the user account in the step "Instructions for creating a user account and generating an access key ID and secret"
This must be entered in the User Time Zone field on Calero’s onboarding form or data will have incorrect times associated.
The License SKU that your accounts are subscribed to.
Onboard This Managed App Connector
- Go to SaaS Management > Applications.
- Select Add Integration.
- From the Vendors tab, select the card with the vendor's name.
- From the API tab, enter the details you captured above.
- Select the Authorize button.
SUCCESS!
You will now be redirected to the Integrations page in Calero.com, where the data sync will continue in the background, and you can monitor progress.
